I was a little disappointed when I drove by Curry Crossing yesterday. They have closed for good. The sign says "Thanks for the Memories". I have to say I really enjoyed the place. The restaurant was located inside an old military qounset hut which is a half round shaped building. They really made the inside look nice and unique with wood planks on the walls. It was you basic mom & pops kind of a place. Just real good home cooking. I hate to see these older non-franchised locally owned and operated places close. In a world where everyone wants everything right now, I guess its difficult for a place like Curry Crossing. They prepare your food and give you time to really enjoy your company. I know times are tough. I wonder if people will think about this and maybe start finding the little hidden hotspot in the area and start giving there business to the locals. I have to say I am sad to see them close. Just another unique dinning experience lost in the Magic Valley.
Well there are other restaurants in the area. Here is a great local guide for dining and for things to do in the area. Go to www.MagicValleyDealFinder.com
